RTR, Kit, Roller and Bind-N-Drive RC Explained

RTR does not always mean every required item is in the box. Ready-to-run normally means the vehicle is assembled and includes a radio system, but some RTR packages still require a battery, charger or transmitter batteries.

RTR

The vehicle is assembled and includes its main electronics and transmitter. Always check the exact package contents.

Bind-N-Drive

The vehicle is assembled with a compatible receiver but typically requires a separately owned compatible transmitter.

Roller

A roller is largely assembled mechanically but can require electronics such as motor, ESC, servo, receiver and transmitter.

Kit

Kits are intended to be built. Required electronics, paint, tools or batteries vary widely by kit.

The site stores completion level separately from battery and charger inclusion so buyers are not misled by a single “RTR” label.
